These DIY wooden shapes puzzles are one of those quick crafty projects you can knock out in an afternoon. If you have toddlers that still nap, this is the perfect project to slot in to that 'precious' you time. These puzzles are also a fun way to teach young children how to recognise their shapes and colours too!
Hi all! My name is Sharni and I’m the woman behind the creative Instagram profile @MadeBySharni. Today I am going to share how to make a herb garden from the simplest of objects - soda cans!
I love IKEA .....LOVE!! I mean, who doesn't right? Most of their popular on-budget furniture pieces like the LACK, KALLAX, MALM, BILLY(sorry nerd alert!) have such huge potential for customization, its unreal! The process of repurposing or updating IKEA furniture, also known widely as 'IKEA Hacking', is quite the craze these days (hence the birth of the IKEA Hackers website). There are lots of different ways to achieve a hack - but the simplest method of all and my favorite, is just to paint IKEA furniture.

Ok. I'll be honest here and and say that until a year ago, I didn't even know what a wreath was. Seriously, they are just not the done thing here in the UK.. and I'm still not entirely sure why. So you can imagine my surprise when I launched the Grillo Designs Facebook DIY group and started noticing all these different creative wreaths popping up in my Facebook feed. Then later when Peggy Bond shared her cute little snowman wreath on this blog and it went completely insanely viral, it finally hit me..... wreaths were awesome...and England was definitely missing out on a good thing!
This pallet swing project was submitted by Marcie Goodman - a member of our Home and DIY Facebook group. I love that this whole swing set is made from pallets which makes this a definite DIY on a budget. You can view other pallet DIY projects on the site here - or keep scrolling to read Marcie's full tutorial. Not that I'm biased or anything but this is one awesome and informative read!
Learn how to make these super cute DIY garden stools using tree trunks and tyres! They look just like mushroom toadstools and are perfect for little bums!
Hi guys! Apologies for being a little MIA in terms of new projects this week (I've shared a few new members projects though which you can check out here) – still trying to adjust to my new web design and making it perfect for you guys! Anyways i digress, I'm so excited to announce that me and three other bloggers have gotten together to take part in a monthly Create With Me challenge. The challenge involves making something creative using material voted by our readers! This month you guys
This project was submitted by Charity Williams from Charity's Pallet Palace - a member of our Home and DIY Facebook group. She created this beautiful indoor herb garden from pallets and Mason jars for one of her friends. I am a huge mason jar fan (do you remember my Ball Mason Jar Fridge?) so this project is right up my street! Click here to see her full tutorial
This project was submitted by Stephanie Calderon from SC Portraits - a member of our Home and DIY Facebook group. I absolutely love how she has transformed the look of her fridge using peel and stick wallpaper. Its reversible (renter friendly) and a great way to cover up ugly appliances! Click here for more pictures and a tutorial.
Woohooo! Summer is fast approaching and I'm pretty excited! So excited in fact I think I may be getting a little carried away... Here's why! In the last couple of weeks I've bought my son a huge trampoline, attempted a BBQ, mowed the garden (joke, I just watched the hubby do it from the side lines), featured some amazing outdoor projects on the blog , thought about cleaning the house windows and basically a whole lot of other summery 'to dos' even though Summer isn't officially here yet . Too much?
