……………….
I have two very important announcements to make. I’m telling you now, these are kind of a big deal.
ANNOUNCEMENT NUMBER 1
I bit the bullet and went out and bought myself a variety of indoor house plants – about ten to be exact. Three weeks later and six of them are still alive!!! Can you believe it??
I can’t believe it. Green thumbs here I come!
ANNOUNCEMENT NUMBER 2
Plants need somewhere cool to live right? I decided to make a wall planter – from the Hyllis IKEA shelf (Yes, there I go with IKEA hacking again..I just cant help myself!)
But I’m not about to share this tutorial here today because (wait for it…), I am now a regular contributor on REMODELAHOLIC.COM!!! Woohoo!
So I’ll be hanging out there every couple of months and sharing some of my DIY tutorials with their readers (I’m kinda hoping you’ll join me over there too… you guys are my dutch courage!)

I love the green theme you have on your blog. I don’t do heavy duty DIY tutorials on mine (involving drills etc) but I am thinking of doing a post on reusing kitchen scraps 🙂
