I love self-adhesive wallpaper (which also goes by lots of other fancy names, removable wallpaper, temporary wallpaper or peel and stick wallpaper)
That’s no secret ( I mean, I even used it to cover my flooring one time!)
But what I love more . . . is monochrome self-adhesive wallpaper.
There’s just something about a black and white pattern that makes me feel weak at the knees (not an exaggeration by the way . . . I think this is what they call adulting? Finding joy in the most basic and mundane things ha!).
I’ve used monochrome self-adhesive wallpaper to decorate most of the corners of my home. Not only does it match my rather neutral colour palette, it also helps to add interest and texture without the need to paint a bold exotic colour.

I think these would be perfect for college student dorms! Maybe you can’t do anything permanent but you surely could put up one of these and give some personality to an otherwise drab and boring environment.
Ooh, those are lovely. Does a monochrome accent wall still look good in a room that’s painted a slightly different shade of white? I’m gun-shy about white grounded wallpapers in case they don’t match my “renter’s white” walls…
Good question. I think its always a great idea to buy the wallpaper sample before committing and hanging it on your walls to double check
