DIY Farmhouse Washtub Sink

Materials used:
1 vessel sink, 1 antique Wash tub, drill, 2″ hole saw, handful of 11/4″ screws.
How to:
First decide if you want the counter to sit on top of the wash tub or be an inlay, I decided to inlay mine because my washtub was a little tall. Once I got the measurements I cut my barnwood.
If it is inlaid I suggest using 2 separate pieces of wood so you Can access your sink easier to attach plumbing. My pieces of barn wood were very snug but I ran a few 1 1/4″ screws through the metal wash tub into the wood to hold it. I only attached the back piece of barn wood at this time.
Set your sink on the counter and decide where your water lines and drain holes will be, mark and drill with a hole saw.
Run your lines through the holes then decide where you want the lines to exit your wash tub for drainage. Using a metal hole saw drill through the wash tub and run your water lines and drainage pipe accordingly.
Check for leaks! (Not being an expert plumber I had a few but a quick call to my father in law and we had them resolved!) once you are satisfied there are no leaks out your second section of wood down to close the gap. Secure with a few screws through the side of the wash tub.
