I recently chalk painted a chair and finished with clear then dark wax. Is the wax enough to protect chair?
I also did end tables same way, should I buff the wax to protect the table?

Is this chair going to be used in a high traffic area? Usually wax is fine if the furniture is not something that is regularly used. However if it is a chair that is always in use, a matt poly or varnish may be better.

If you have used Annie Sloan paint. a wax finish is enough to protect it
It takes about 21 to 28 days for the wax to totally cure and you will be fine in the meantime use it gently
