I also did end tables same way, should I buff the wax to protect the table? 15th October 2015 at 5:45 am #698 MedinaKeymaster Is this chair going to be used in a high traffic area? Usually wax is fine if the furniture is not something that is regularly used. However if it is a chair that is always in use, a matt poly or varnish may be better. 15th October 2015 at 8:20 pm #751 Elizabeth HarveyParticipant If you have used Annie Sloan paint. a wax finish is enough to protect it It takes about 21 to 28 days for the wax to totally cure and you will be fine in the meantime use it gently 3rd January 2017 at 11:47 am #12640 MedinaKeymaster Here are two good tutorials on wax and chalk paint! 1.http://grillo-designs.com/use-dark-wax-to-antique-furntiure/ 2.http://grillo-designs.com/laras-refinished-picture-frame/ Author Posts You must be logged in to reply to this topic.
